I am three weeks into this new lifestyle. The changes I see in myself are wonderful!! The changes I feel are even better!!
In the last week, I've lost two pounds [bringing the total to ten pounds lost]. Also, I've lost 2.5 inches in the last week [bringing the total to 12.5 inches lost].
This week, I am going to hopefully start adding some new things into my work outs. The one thing I really want to add is lifting. It'll help me gain the upper body strength I'd love to have!! I'm, also, going to maybe add a little bit more distance when I go running. I might add one-quarter of a mile so that I can be running an even 2 miles. My parents' neighbors don't just have lifting stuff, they've got an elliptical, boxing stuff, and some other stuff, so maybe I'll start using something else as well.
Right now, I am in the toughest five-pound weight range for myself. I hit the one end of that range last week, and I have three more pounds to go till I hit the other end of the range. I've had such a struggle getting passed the lower end of the range for a very long time. I'm hoping that this time around, though, I'll be able to get passed it and never see that weight again when I step on the scale. I am ready to be a weight that I haven't been in years!!
Keep it up, Steph! I'm running 2 miles a night but thats about it. I dont lift or anything. I'm just trying to eat healthy..
ReplyDeleteI wanna see some before and after pictures! I'm sure you look great!
That's great that you're running 2 miles a night, Jackie!! I'd like to start running daily at some point, but not anytime soon. Maybe at the beginning of August or September I will.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had some before and after photos. I wanted to take a few when I started this, but never got around to it. And now, my one lens is off being fixed, and I'm waiting on the one I ordered over the weekend to get here. I want to start taking some photos, though, on the 1st of every month since I started on June 1st. I think it'd be nice to see the changes as each month goes by [minus from the first day I started].
