06/09/2009

What a lame title, 06/09/2009. Don't you think so?! HA. Oh well. I can't think of anything very creative. But on to blogging about food and working out....

Last night, we had Quick and Easy Potato Soup and salad [but I didn't eat the salad because I was way full on the soup]. Let me tell you, that soup was AMAZING!! I've never had any type of potato soup before - just hearing "Potato Soup" always made me want to be sick ten times over. But I decided to give the vegan potato soup a shot last night, and it was AMAZING!!!! I absolutely loved it!! I loved it so much that I had two helpings!! HA. To me, it tasted like the creamy stuff from the scalloped potatoes my mom makes. Ugh, so good!! I highly recommend this to anyone that is vegan or simply loves potato soup!!!! But if you don't like a lot of pepper, make sure you use the lower amount of pepper, or even less. My mom used the lower amount, and it was a bit peppery - but that didn't bother me like it did my mom.

Yesterday was a great day for me!! It was even a great day outside of the food and working out - and that makes all the difference!! So since I was having a great day yesterday, I not only went on a walk with my sister in the afternoon, we ended up going on another walk in the evening, and I worked out my lower body and abs for about two hours!! I was all kinds of sweaty yesterday, but it was an amazing feeling!! I love that when I'm having such a good day, I'll work out so much and enjoy every second of it!!

Today is a running day, and I should go get ready so I can go on that run real soon. So I think I'm going to go do just that now - get ready and run!!
